Based on the meme on which it is based, this was done in the first quarter of 2023 and took me approximately about four months to complete and to finish it, more or less. It was made with 3dsmax, Substance Painter+Designer and it is also my first ever Source Engine 2 environment built with Source Engine 2 (the engine used in games like "Half-life: Alyx" and the upcoming "Counter Strike 2", among other games).

The initial idea was conceptualized around redundant elements, as well as a good share of needless repetition and the inclusion of redundant elements. At the same time, I wanted to give it a certain air of plausibility and attempted to be absurd yet simultaneously believable at the same time. Some objects are seemingly more ridiculous than other objects, and it was very tricky finding a balance and developing strategies of keeping within the theme while at the same time doing more than just adding more parts to the objects while being thematically consistent.
It took a great deal of effort and imagination to imagine a lot of these props and little posters and signs, sometimes more than the actual process of modeling and texturing them.

I will still release Unreal Engine-based environments, but this probably won't be my last Source Engine 2 environment made with Source Engine 2. Lighting is fully baked with an 8K lightmap atlas, which took about 2 hours and 20 minutes to bake at a resolution of 8192x8192.
